About the event
If you've ever wanted to learn how to make baskets, now is your chance! We will be using native wiregrass to make coiled baskets. This is like our pine needle basket class, just with a different local plant. It's amazing the resources we have around us, if we just look! We can make something beautiful and useful. We use our baskets for everything on the homestead; storage, gathering berries and other outdoor collections, displaying our treasures, and even hang them as art on our walls!
Your fee includes:
3 hours of instruction
a handmade pottery base (your choice of designs)
all materials to complete your basket
the knowledge to make more baskets on your own!
